hypoglycemia, my new best friend
I’m pretty sure that I’ve had hypoglycemia for years, and that’s been part of my problem. If I eat carbs, pretty much in any quantity, I feel like crap. Also, this means I shouldn’t eat any sugar, artificial sweeteners, or drink alcohol (the last one is the hardest. eek!). I’ve tried to start this plan so many times, but it makes eating out with friends very difficult. But, on the other hand, I’ve been told that if I eat what my body really needs, then I’ll lose weight like crazy. Awesome!
So, I’ll be going an unconventional route, but hopefully it’ll really work. It’s lots of snacks like nuts, pistachios, and cheese. And eating small meals all throughout the day instead of the conventional three.
So yeah, here we go.

The alcohol part is definitely the hardest, especially with the CTK crowd.
The small-meals thing is good for people like us with weird blood sugar issues (I think I’m hypoglcemic, too), so I might get right on board with you there.
